Stephanie is a registered massage therapist who has taken further training in the following techniques: Craniosacral Therapy (CST), scar tissue massage, myofascial release, pre and post care for breast cancer related surgeries and elective and/or cosmetic breast surgeries. You are welcomed and nurtured through gentle hands-on healing during your breast and chest surgery process, both pre and post surgery. Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, non-invasive, hands on treatment that supports physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. CST is performed on a massage table, the therapists touch is light and still, allowing the body to gently adjust within its own limits. CST is known to have a profound effect on balancing the nervous system as well as resolving traumatic experience held in the tissues of the body. Trauma occurs when our nervous system is overwhelmed beyond our ability to respond. In some cases this can cause tension in the body and further contribute to illness and injury. Each patient is given an individualized treatment plan with the goal to provide relaxation, pain relief and a feeling of increased wellbeing.
